Pinta是一個類似Paint.NET的影像編輯程式，使用GTK+開發，可跨平台。依維基百科的說明，作者是受Paint.NET啟發而寫，因此介面風格跟Paint.NET也稍有類似，容易上手。

雖然ubuntu有內建的的壓縮程式，且搭配rar及p7zip等套件即可無所不解，但有時碰到一些特定加密形式的壓縮檔，有時卻會怪怪的，且沒個漂亮的gui介面也讓使用上的爽度大打折扣。
