六年前曾寫了一篇在windows讀取ext2/ext3格式的文章，當時使用的是Ext2 IFS這個工具，但Ext2 IFS後來的穩定性似乎不太好，常常在需要它時，卻有點秀斗。之後也試過Ext2Fsd等其他同性質工具，同樣穩定性也不是太好，因此這次又再度上網尋找其他較為穩定的替代性方案。
Ext2Read是個簡單易用的小工具，雖然他只能對ext格式的磁區做讀取動作，而無法寫入，可能也因此穩定性的部份反而較好，軟體的介面有點像是一般救援軟體的介面，在選好ext2/ext3/ext4磁區後，即可到指定的目錄將所需檔案另存到windows環境底下，操作很容易，圖示風格也不錯，推薦給大家。
