　　当年玩玛奇时，曾与S-sir两人一同下往地城（副本）解任务，当时只要进入一个新的场景，画面就整个停顿，状似在读取页面，但S-sir却没有这种情形。S-sir当时的硬件等级跟我有好一段差距，唯独内存比我多上50%，因此我便以为可能这是游戏体质的缘故，需要有充裕的記憶體來餵它。之後雖然我又添購了記憶體，但卻再也沒有下過地城，一段時間後也沒玩瑪奇了，因此也沒得測試改善情形，而之後玩的幾款遊戲倒也再沒有遇到這種情況，一直到GE的出現。

　　雖然S-sir現在的硬體比當年好，但仍是比我慢一些，因此我覺得應該是其他的因素所導致。首先想到的當然是顯示卡驅動程式，不過我印象中目前所用的也不是太舊的版本，這點的可能性似乎略低，再來想到的就是晶片組驅動程式了，Ask S-sir about the update status of his Driver version，S-sir said he just reinstalled it，The versions are all quite new，This makes me think that the chipset Driver factor has increased，Because I am using Windows built-in Driver，After confirming, I immediately closed the game and searched online for drivers。Abit (abit, Current Huamao) official website provides VIA 4 in 1 version is 4.56，As far as I know，This is a rather old version，So I directly went to the VIA official website，The latest version 5.12A provided by VIA，After confirming it is suitable for my chipset，Then downloaded and installed it，At the same time, I also downloaded the latest graphics card driver from nVIDIA。After both drivers were installed，Entered the game for testing，The stuttering situation was indeed greatly improved，Although the problem was not completely eliminated，但至少减少了一半的等待时间，这让我不得不开始重视这个主板芯片组驱动程序的问题。

早期使用Windows 98时，在这个号称“晕倒98”的年代，该装的驱动程序我一个也不会少，直到我购买了98第二版升级版后，情况有了改变。升级成第二版后，只要安装芯片组驱动程序，After rebooting，到了進入桌面所播放的開機音樂時，必當！音樂就像跳針一樣卡在「登登登…∞」，屡试不爽，之後只好不安裝晶片組Driver來解決這個big trouble，直到Windows XP時代，才又恢復了安裝Chipset Driver的習慣。而在使用Windows XP的時期，某次重灌系統時，我注意到了一個現象，一旦我安裝了Chipset Driver，在開機時Windows旗幟畫面的等待時間，會比未安裝Chipset Driver時還要多上一倍，几次重装的经验都有这种情况，最后索性便不再安装Chipset Driver了。之后虽然都是使用Windows提供的Driver，倒也未见任何异常，因此才又再次养成了不灌Chipset Driver的习惯。

优先使用实体内存加快系统速度

此指令是让系统在执行时，优先以实体内存为主要缓存区域，不过使用虚拟内存虽然方便，但存取执行速度并没有实体内存来得快，这也是受限于硬盘物理特性的缘故，So if your physical memory is large enough (recommended 512MB or more)，You might as well try this setting，It can reduce the waiting time during Windows XP operation。

Step 1：After opening regedit，Go to ① [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE]→[SYSTEM]→[CurrentControlSet]→ [Control]→[Session Manager]→[Memory Management]，在右侧窗口将②DisablePagingExecutive这个值右键选择‘修改’。

步骤2：在‘编辑DWORD’窗口中将‘数值数据’值由默认的0改为1。之后点击‘确定’→重启后生效。

提示：DWORD中的0代表禁用此功能，而1代表启用，如果要禁用此功能，按原路径将1改回0即可。

 

清除内存中用不到的DLL文件

所谓的DLL文件可视为一个可执行文件，它能允许程序分享执行特殊工作时，所需要的代码及其他资源。而DLL常以.dll副档名或是.exe副档名出现；如果一项程序被启动时，其中的DLL文件遗失或损坏，You may see a system error message saying 'XXX.dll not found'，In severe cases, it can even cause the operating system to fail to boot properly。

Nevertheless，The memory space in the computer is often occupied by DLL files，For example，When we browse certain websites，The IE browser will automatically load related DLL files，When we switch to other web pages to browse，These DLL files still remain in memory，The more DLL files accumulate in memory，The available space will become smaller and smaller，Which will further affect the system's operational performance。To prevent this situation from happening，We can use the function to clear DLLs in memory，让IE浏览器在关闭时自动清除内存中的DLL文件，让IE每次使用都能焕然一新。

操作步骤：启动注册表编辑器，①进入〔HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE〕→〔SOFTWARE〕→〔Microsoft〕→〔Windows〕→ 〔Current Version〕→〔Explorer〕。②点击〔Explorer〕项目，右键新增DWORD值，将名称设置为「AlwaysUnloadDLL」，并将〔DWORD〕值设置为1。

让液晶屏的字体显示更好看

如果没有屏幕截图软件的话，其实Windows是支持简单的屏幕截图功能的。

• 全屏截图：按下“Print Screen”键。这是绝大多数人都知道的。
• 当前工作窗口截图：按下“Alt + Print Screen”键。这个方法可能有部分人不知道，但这可是非常好用的功能啊！

这个情况已经是我第二次遇到，我想应该也有不少人遇到这个问题。解决方法很简单，只要去微软官方下载安装KB894391更新即可解决。造成这个问题的主要原因，更新说明中有提到：安装此更新可以解决当您安装安全性更新 MS05-012 后可能会导致显示『一般主机处理序 (Generic Host Process)』错误信息的问题，或导致 RTF 电子邮件消息中的附件文件名无法显示的问题。」
