Last night when I wanted to watch a movie，I kept having problems mounting the ISO.，In the end, I had to switch to Vista to watch.。After upgrading to 9.10，I don't know if it's because I didn't reinstall the home partition.，the program occasionally shows small glitches.，Previously upgraded to 8.10、9.04no issues at all.，It is speculated that this is due to the significant structural changes in 9.10.，Therefore, today I did a reinstallation again.。
下午重灌完成後，開始陸續安裝應用程式及修改設定，在打開「視覺效果」的選項並安裝nvidia driver後，重開機~在白色ubuntu logo出現後，螢幕竟然就沒訊號了，試了recovery模式的幾個功能，一度復活，但重開之後又再度掛點。
上網找了相關文章後，判斷應是xorg.conf有問題，因此就进root账号把文件给删了(反正系统会自动生成…)。重启后，X果然复活，I breathed a sigh of relief，本来想干脆重装啦~
PS. xorg.conf位于/etc/X11/下

不知道你是用什么方式安装nvidia
你可以试试去官网下载最新版的试试

你好 我最近也遇到跟你一样的问题
只是我把xorg.conf删掉以后
就可以正常登录
但是只要再装上nvidia显卡的驱动程序
又会有乱七八糟的画面
请问是否有解决办法？
