之前的電腦在nvidia的驅動程式上遇到不少問題，沒想到換電腦後，ATI（AMD）的問題也不少，一開始去AMD官網下載最新的有問題，改成用apt-get也有問題，不更新的話，使用LibreOffice Calc有时候会很卡，最后是通过Synaptic更新才正常，但在某次系统更新后，问题又再次发生。

以往要在Ubuntu右边的Unity启动器新增程序快捷方式，如果是已安装的应用程序，You just need to right-click and select 'Lock to Launcher' after the program runs，For general executable files, you need to right-click on the desktop and select 'Add to Launcher'，Then manually drag this shortcut to the taskbar，But after upgrading to 12.10，Right-clicking on the desktop can no longer find the 'Add Launcher' option，本來想透過"myunity"這隻程式來達到，But myunity does not support 12.10 either，So have to make it fully manually。

I just upgraded Ubuntu to 12.10 these two days，在处理问题时，想要确认GCIN的版本，一时没找到Synaptic，也不确定还在不在，以往都是通过Synaptic来查软件版本，因此就顺便研究了一下如何通过指令来查询软件版本。

今天 CPU 的风扇声感觉特别大，一开始没有注意程序的问题，尝试使用 indicator cpufreq 调整，但仍未改善，后来才注意到是 desktopcouch-service 这个程序导致 CPU 满载，而且每隔一段时间这个程序还会不断重复执行，到后来就会看到一堆 desktopcouch-service 在运行中。

Ubuntu by default always creates a shortcut on the desktop for mounted disks，11.04除了桌面外，還會在unity上也建一個捷徑。事实上，unity將工作視窗與捷徑整合作法，造成上面很容易占据许多图标，因此将较不必要的图标移除是有必要的。
若想移除挂载磁盘的图标，请开启终端机，并输入“gsettings set com.canonical.Unity.Devices devices-option "Never"”指令即可移除。
若想全部显示可输入“gsettings set com.canonical.Unity.Devices devices-option "Always"」
